Sunflower oil of prime quality is produced by sunflower seeds- Helianthus plant. The oil undergoes an appropriate processing to result in a product of high quality, clear, with light amber colour and light sweet flavour, rich in polyunsaturated fats and toxic free.
It is used raw in salads, salad dressings, as well as for the preparation of mayonnaise and margarine.
In addition, it is used in cooking and frying where it is quite resistant due to its high smoking point, that is when the reactions which free toxic substances and free radicals start, which reaches 2300C.
